Jean Trudelle, president

Jean Trudelle chairs federal meetings and coordinates the work of the three regroupements. He is responsible for the School and Society Committee and is a member of the CSN's Education Working Group. He officially represents the federation at, among other things, the Institut de coopération pour l'éducation des adultes.

He teaches physical education at CEGEP Ahuntsic. He was elected to the federal council in March 2004 and was re-elected at the June 2006 congress as second vice-president. He was elected federation president at the May 2009 congress.

Caroline Senneville, secretary-general and treasurer

Caroline Senneville handles issues related to unions in the regroupement privé (private institutions group). She is also responsible for the federal Insurance and Pension Committee and the Women's Committee. As secretary-general, she follows up on decisions and mandates passed by federation leadership. Her duties also include managing staff and ensuring that services run smoothly. She is the treasurer as well.

She teaches French and literature at CEGEP Limoilou and was elected secretary-general during the March 2004 federal council. She previously held the position of second vice-president since June 2001. Caroline Senneville was re-elected at the June 2006 congress and then again in May 2009.

Marie Blais, first vice-president

Marie Blais handles issues related to unions in the regroupement université (universities). She is responsible for the Health and Safety and Environment Committee as well as the federal Job Security Committee. She is also in charge of the training file.

She is a lecturer in urban studies at the Université du Québec à Montréal. Elected during the December 2004 federal council, she was re-elected during the June 2006 congress and then again in May 2009.

Micheline Thibodeau, second vice-president

Micheline Thibodeau handles issues related to unions in the regroupement cégep and manages the public-sector negotiation file. She is also responsible for the International Action Committee. Her mandate includes ensuring members are well-informed and so she oversees, among other things, the CARNETS newsletter and the federation's website.

She is a professor of philosophy at CEGEP Saint-Hyacinthe. Elected as a member of the CEGEP Negotiation Committee in 2000, she assumed responsibility for the coordination of the regroupement cégep in 2004. She was elected second vice-president at the May 2009 congress.
